Acabei de ler um post do Hugo Pais Baptista do GASP que me deixou bastante interessado.

Aqui transcrevo:

These are great news. In my point of view, this is the turn of a page in history and a sign that Microsoft is trying  to take a constructive path with the Open Source community. "
